SETUP NEW LABEL ACCOUNT
Welcome to the bandsforlabels.com label questionnaire. In order to find the bands that best fit your music needs, we need you to answer a few questions. There are two parts to this questionnaire: general questions and essay questions. Please answer all the questions as honestly as possible. If a question seems vague, mark the closest answer. In the essay section, be as specific as possible. This is your opportunity to explain your artistic goals and objectives. Essay Questions
This is the section where you can be as specific as you like (i.e. style of music you represent, who you have worked with, whose CD you have produced etc). Answer all of the questions as best as you can and try not to miss any of them.

Describe your label. This is an opportunity to be more specific about your label and the specific style of music you cater to.

What are the labels goals in 2 years? In 5 years?

Talk about your success stories. Did you have a band that went on to sign with a major label and become famous? Did you break a band on radio or MTV?

Describe your ideal artist. What do you expect out of a band/artist that you support?

Explain how you go about promoting your bands. What approaches do you take and how do you get them noticed by their target audience. Do you use outside promotion, in house staff etc?

Describe your previous successes as a label guru. For example, are you better known for producing bands in a different life, did you use to work at a larger known company? What kind of contacts do you have in the industry?

Does anyone at the label have any special attributes that add to the validity of the successes of the bands on your label? Or better put, can anyone at the label do graphic design or screen-printing?

Anything else? Anything that we missed that you would like to address (what can you bring to the table when it's time to talk turkey)?
